Tattoos are delicate and must be cared for once they have been created. The life and the brightness of a tattoo depends on the wearers treatment in the first 3 weeks. At this delicate stage, doing the wrong thing will ruin a tattoo. The tattoo will take up to 3 weeks to heal and a further 2 weeks to settle in to your skin. Remove the dressing that the Tattooist has applied after 1 hour and wash thoroughly with warm soapy water and GENTLY pat dry with a towel. Then only cover the tattoo with loose clothing. NEVER RE-APPLY ANY OTHER DRESSINGS. Apply a non-perfumed Vitamin-E cream twice a day. For other instructions see list below. use Vaseline or Petroleum Jelly on or near the tattoo.

use alcohol or peroxide on or near the tattoo.

pick or scratch tattoo.

DO NOT
soak tattoo in water of any sort. Get into the shower, get clean and
get out! Pools, spas, baths, the ocean and any form of swimming or long
immersion in water are to be avoided for two weeks.

expose tattoo to direct sunlight (this includes tanning beds!)

use any other creams except a non-perfumed Vitamin-E cream.
